My first set of sketches are both from Lyra, the ring is a real show stopper and averted vision revealed individual stars with in M56. I'm happy enough with the sketches, they are pretty much as  you see the objects in the eyepiece.

 Over the next year I hope to see and sketch all the messier objects so you can compare these sketches with your own observations or give you an idea of what can be seen in a 6'' dobsonian telescope.
